"equal pricing will bring equal pay for equal work"

If everything were price controled like this, everything be equal except those things not controlable. If there were no premiums to be had, why would a teacher ever go to Alaska, or Compton, or any other generally unfavorable location? If all things are equal, why work second shift if there is nothing in it that is extra? If all pricing and pay is equal, where is thr incentive for me to invent a product and start a business if I am not sure if the eventual "equatable pricing" will allow me to make a profit?

"sure would kill forign outsourcing though"

Only if such price fixing were planet wide. How would that work? Who gets to decide how much I make? Who gets to decide how much my car costs? Who gets to decide how much I must pay for Groceries? Why should I even get paid or pay for anything under this system? If we all make the same money and we all pay the same costs, we should all just work for the government and get what they give us.

You cannot truly believe that this is a good idea.
