We are winning? Huh!?!
The past is no firm indication of the present or the
future..period.

We spend BILLIONS and they spend what? Pennies if that. After
all they have all that surplus that is just lying around the place.
So I tend to doubt that they are spendiing at all. When we
mount a huge attack that cost us million like Fallujah. They for
the most part simply pick up and move, and it is WE who pick up
the mess and re-construct what we blew up in the first place.
The debt is at or near all time highs and the bill in not nearly in
for the whole wad, not yet and in truth who knows how much it
is going to cost us.

If we are winning I can't say I see it. We take out a cell. More
pop up. We kill a few...more join up. We wipe out an ammo
dump or take a city...They get more weapons and simply move
to a new location. It costs them little or nothing, it cost us
millions or billions take your pick. This is a victory? Oh and by
the by until the other side actually gives up it is NOT a victory.
One can win the battle and loose the war.

Besides I don't think GW and co are looking at the long term
implications. After all this is all just the dance that leads up to
the End Times and they believe it. And things like debt and
polution and out sourcing have litter real meaning to them for in
the end all will be well.
