The problem in Europe is not about pricing differential
within the EU area, but the restriction of trade imposed on
EU citizens preventing them from buying product from
any store in any member country.

Of course this would have the intended effect of allowing
citizens to buy from the cheapest store. This being the
purpose of competition policy, something No-Facts sadly
doesn't understand.
