Apple are saying that the cost to provide iTunes is different in each country, so they charge accordingly. No one is arguing against that.

"Which" are complaining about having to pay more for songs. The British consumer protection authority is saying that the EC is in a better position to judge whether Apple's prices are fair.

I think if Apple are told to sell at an unprofitable price in Britain, they will simply close their UK store.

Now wouldn't that be a win for pommie consumers?
