See, this is where you missed my point
I pointed out the glaring fact that Apple claims that the $.99 US is the lowest they can go and make any sort of profit. However, they set the prices a bit lower in Canandian dollars and then jacked up the price in Europe and Great Britain to well above the set point. That tells me that Apple is playing the market just like all the others.

I know that they are entitled to make *some* money, but the $.99 is arbitrary and is supposed to feed the "Oh, look! Less than a buck!" bargain hunter's lust. Well, when you are talking digital, which requires no physical inventory, then I would love to see where the money is going.
