iTunes for Canucks on the cheap? get real...
You get paid more to work the same jobs, your dollar goes
further, your computers in US dollars cost less (use the Apple
Canada Store WITH bank fees and conversion to US dollars to
see...) and you pay less for gas... your movie makers take a 10
million dollar budget and come up here to get 13 million out of
it, then complain we are 'stealing' your industries and getting
breaks? Talk about trying to have everything YOUR WAY...Give
me a break... too clueless to know different countries have
different economies of scale?

Our 99 cents means the same to us as your 99 cents to you. Ever
since there was an Apple Music Store we had to sit by watching
all the neat music that we could not buy even if we did pay in
American dollars.

Figures there would be cretins whining we should pay
$1.174635 Canadian instead (todays 99? US to CAN. conversion
rate NOT including an extra ten cents on the dollar that the bank
tacks on to make currency change!) for the same music,
implying that we are not allowed our own sovereign commerce
in our own currency. Last time I saw the US store, the price was
99 cents per song....

Even with exchange you pay much less for the CD's you would
burn your iTunes music on, ever consider that? Maybe Apple
studied the music industry mess the Recording Artists have
created up here and decided to give us a break that we will put
towards media purchase. Do you pay on average $1.50 or more
per blank DVD? no.... Do you pay 70? or more per blank CD? no.
Do you pay $25 extra for an iPod to feed the likes of Brian
Adams like we do? no. Your prices are MUCH less...so stop
complaining and pretending we have it so much better than you!

Up here the musicians and music execs are applying every year
for increases of a 'levy' (try blood tax) we pay to blank media of
all sorts, including flash memory for cameras for petes sake!!
They think that scrooing EVERYONE who buys media is the way
to counter illegal and legal downloads and make up for lost
revenues... soon they will win attempts for applying levies to
DVD media and other non music related storage.

If you like it so much why not try to immigrate here (500
Romanian strippers cant be wrong, and they proved how easy it
was to do last year). If you are lucky you will arrive in time to see
a 100% tax above and beyond the retail price of a stack of blank
CDs, soon to be pushed up to 2.5 times the amount of the
product.
