Had it failed, the monkies would have complained bitterly and called the Zoo Help Desk with insulting remarks about purchasing policies.


By the way (irrelevance will do no further damage to this post), the word commode is interesting.

It means a toilet.
It also means an elaborate chest of drawers, like a chiffonier.
It also means, and I can do no better than to quote Webster's revised unabridged:
