- What is AOL's strategy..............???

AOL's strategy is a total mystery to me now....??
A few days ago I saw Netscape advertising their internet service. Today I hear they are going to offer a new browser. Now I suppose that it's possible that Netscape operates as a seperate unit. In all likelyhood AOL has sensed weakness in IE's marketshare. Perhaps AOL sees this as a way to steer Netscape customers to AOL. On the otherhand perhaps Netscape see this as a way to diffuse Microsoft's monopoly.
But it's amazing that the same company that produces the Netscape communicator can produce a clunky piece spamware like AOL. Personally I am a bit suprised that the hacking community has not targeted AOL. If AOL was smart they would have developed a less intrusive software and targeted the business community.
