Recent court case in Connecticut
Businesses were complaining about a loss of 90% of their prior income after the smoking ban took effect. Problem was, people went to casinos or private clubs where smoking was still allowed. The non-club bars begged the court to either overthrow the smoking ban or extend it to the clubs.

The Judge, being an intelligent individual, ducked this one. The legislature will have to respond to either the people of the State or those who want to control the lives of others. They chose the attackers, so now they'll have to solve the problem.

So some bars and restaurants in Connecticut are assured of a healthy atmosphere. They're empty.
