If it is so unimportant why are you the first to rant?
What is it really, bitty? All the free downloads cutting into your piracy business or what? What does it matter to you?
On a side note, I wonder how many dangerous 11 year olds they will snag in this 'dragnet'? How many prisons are we going to have to build with nannys instead of guards?
Congress really overstepped the boundaries on this one. The Constitution allows for a limited monopoly for inventors and authors, not their children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. The pendulum will eventually swing back the other direction as soon as we get a pro-people supreme court. Not likely to happen until everyone takes a stand and decides to support Our Constitution and vote the rascals out. In the meantime nobody cares how much you stand on your soapbox and preach the virtues of a perpetual monopoly. Shill for Disney all you want. You seem to forget all their work is based on someone else's stories. Where is original Disney work? Snow White? Nope. The Jungle Book? Nope. Robin Hood? Nope. Why are you not calling them "copyright" thieves? Is it because the way they carefully crafted the law so that these folks no longer hold valid copyrights? Public Domain is where they got most of their ideas.
