Companies that produce nothing
I think it's sad that litigation is replacing persperation in a lot of companies Real may have a legitimate beef with MSFT, but the whole idea of litigation as a business strategy is getting out of hand.

Take this article: http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/6478691/site/newsweek/

Companies that produce nothing. We're turning into a country that produces nothing. That's fine until the countries that do produce your products, like China, start jerking the economic chain, like they've already started doing. One little currency move and the markets here were shaking in their shoes. Imagine if China really started flexing. I'm not sure what the word for b!tch is in Chinese, but we better start learning or we're going to be wearing that label.

And now companies are forming patent pools, which will stifle any new business ideas and make darn sure no one tries to set up any kind of manufacturing facility here. Too much risk of getting sued.

It's Pearl Harbor all over again. Except it's economic instead of war machines.
