Safari vs. Firefox
---It has its quarks---

Considering that quarks make up neutrons and protons, I think most things have quarks.

---My browsers of
choice in order are: Safari, Firefox and IE last---

IE for the Mac is indeed years and years behind the curve. They updated it once for OSX and promptly forgot about it. I've been mostly using Safari, but am now trying to switch to Firefox. Why? Well, first off, Safari continually chokes and crashes on ZDNet (this is the only site where this has happened to me, go figure). Firefox handles it fine. I also like the extensions available in Firefox and you seem to have a finer level of control. Firefox blocks those annoying popups that appear within certain web pages (http://www.wunderground.com), which Safari lets slip through. I like Firefox's search box which allows you to get into Amazon and Ebay and other places, unlike Safari's which only let's you search Google.

The one major point in favor of Safari is the "snapback" feature. Looks like Apple now has some catching up to do.
