Whilst you dream of what MS could do
And my timing couldn't be any better as ZDNet has just
completely changed the article from

"Still awaiting Microsoft's search entry"

to

"Microsoft updates search site"

guess their MS overlords didn't like the tone of the original
article.

Whilst you might prefer more pro-MS posts please
recognise MS doesn't have a search product! Calling it beta
is ridiculous as it is still work in progress (pre-Alpha).

"The question is whether MS can be a threat to Google or
Yahoo....my belief is it is too early to tell but we can surely
come to some projection in six months when people
become more aware of MSN search and start trying it as
opposed to Google or Yahoo."

This is the true MS lackey position, and I can see why the
other posts upset you, and why the continuous stream of
MS is "going to" article offends us.

Anything could happen, but for a moment lets look at
reality. They don't have a product, the product they don't
have has been talked about by MS and friends for years and
was to be released before the end of 2004. NEWS FLASH : It
won't be, and it isn't even close to being finished.

Whilst you dream of what MS could do, we like to have a
laugh at what they haven't done but liked to talk about.
