Only 3 days, eh?

#1) Not a Republican? Hm, well, walk like a duck, talk like a duck, etc. Rich IS relative, your "well off" would be "obscenely wealthy" in the Sudan. Oh, I KNOW Jeff wasn't talking about your "physical makeup" when he said constitution. Didn't like my original statement, eh? Try this: "Typical obscenely wealthy duck, trying to confuse everybody about how his physical makeup doesn't differ much from a piece of parchment." 'K? Works for me.

#2) Ol' Ben said this several times, in several different ways; my favorite: "They who would give up an essential liberty for temporary security, deserve neither liberty or security." Which one? Oh, try the Fourth Amendment and the search and seizure of electronic data processing equipment under the "updated" provisions of the Patriot Act. In case you are unaware, the FBI is STILL trying to work it so that they can confiscate your computer if they think you have "subversive material" on it. What constitutes "subversive material" is pretty much anything they don't like. Haven't been able to do it ... yet ... but give 'em time.

#3) "Overwhelming" is another one of those relative terms. A guy throwing a hand grenade who takes out 6 of 10 people has had overwhelming success; whereas a 6 of 10 launch success for NASA would be abysmal failure. Since a victor in a political race who got 60% could claim a mandate, it is more like the hand grenade situation.

#4) Oh, so it is okay to quibble about whether some of, most of, or all of those 15,000 civilians were innocent? Okay, then I guess it would be fine for Hamas to say "Hey, we didn't blow up ALL of the people on that bus, just SOME OF the folks in the first four rows!"

#5) Same as #4, just substitute "A.G. prisoners" for "15,000 civilians."

#6) If you can't figure which Jesus it is, hey, don't blame Jeff: I figured it out.

Oooo: "occlusion via sardonic ... blah blah," I LIKE that SC! So you think I am attempting to obstruct you via skeptically humorous, sarcastic and insulting remarks? I only WISH my words were that powerful! Nice of you to hike my little missives here on ZDNet to such rarefied importance, but I really must protest .

Not prejudiced, eh? A little secret for ya, SC: EVERYBODY has some sort of prejudice, and the worst prejudice is to think you have none ... it's called self-righteousness.
