Interesting Idea But......
I hated the government and the RIAA when they killed the majority of streaming audio over the net. The rate set per song per listener may sound cheap but it can add fast when formulas are applied to estimate the # of listeners. those that tried to do it just for fun and had no ad revenue could no longer afford it. Most radio stations that were streaming quit since they resented having to essentially pay twice to cover the same listener base. Although the internet may expand the listener base a little, the majority of advertising that benefits from that is national advertising.

I also resented the RIAA for killing to ability of net listeners to create custom play lists. To me this is like requiring the fast forward button on all vcr's be disabled.

Why the hell can't the goverment and these greedy blood-sucking copyright crusaders embrace technology and modify laws allow us to enjoy it to the full extent. The idea of complete P2P radio is great. I think and hope a good free one will appear and take over before any subscription one makes in roads.

I mean we pay for cable or tv now, xm is trying to get us to pay for radio, we pay for internet connections. I am sick of paying for content and love it anytime I can get stuff for free. My middle finger is squarely and firmly point towards all these agencies that attempt to rape us and steal our freedoms. As long as I can download whatever I want for free I will.

Personally though I would not want to pay to stream music and then be expected to share bandwith
