If you only want to "risk" $10..
Rent it, or view it in the theater. What's needed is for video stores to allow you to buy a copy of the movie, minus the rental cost, if you rent it and like it (I wonder if some do offer this..). That would be ideal.

Sure, I'd buy more movies if they were $10 instead of $25.. but the price in no way justifies piracy (note how many people against the RIAA lawsuits complained about the lack of "value" of music compared to other entertainment.. such as DVD movies).
