You have a point..
And Hollywood does shoot itself in the foot in this regard with regional encoding, such that you cannot even purchase the foreign film to view. Just as long as you somehow pay for the movie, personally I have no problem with that.

BUT, I'll bet the majority of movies swapped aren't these foreign films: they're movies currently in theater, or available on DVD.
