Microsoft is doing the same thing
IE is a perfect example. Because I won't upgrade to XP I don't get the new feature in IE. How is this any differnt? If you don't upgrade I-Tunes you can't get new songs. You can keep your old version and listen to your currently owned tunes fine. This is just exactly the same thing.

The big differnce here is that it isn't costing me $200 to continue using I-Tunes to buy music. Where with Microsoft I'm forking out $200 for XP-Pro just to get a better browser.

Oh yeah, what about Anti-virus companies that force you to upgrade to the latest version for price and stop giving signatures for the old version?
