Our websites are tested for compatibility with the major versions of IE, Netscape, Opera, Safari, and Firefox/Mozilla that have been available for the past several years.

This testing only requires the use of one ancient Mac, the new G5's that are also the primary workstations for our designers, and one decent sized Dell XP machine that runs Windows 95, 98, NT, and w2000 (using VMWare).

About 9% of our sales are made to non-IE users and about 4.7% of those are non-Windows users.

Why throw that kind of money away when, according to our designers, it is just as easy to build a site to standards that everyone can use?
