Yep
The 800 lb gorrilla in the blogsphere is Drudge. MSM tried taking him down years ago - his speech to the National Press Club is a classic response to the garbage that has been spewing from the main stream press for years.

Accuracy? From where? From how? Four years of university learning how to be a journalist qualifies you for what exactly? Cause it sure ain't the What Who Where Why When and How of getting information that used to be part of the craft of journalism.

I'll agree that the MSM has the resources that a blogger does not have to go and get stories - but at this point the blogoshpere has been far more accurate in terms of content.

And you bet that the election results will probably come from a blog site before it comes from the MSM - they got burned in 2000 and got gunshy. RealClearPolitics or Drudge will be the sites to keep an eye on this Tuesday. Or Kos and or Wonkette if you'd prefer.
