My Cisco 3000 VPN concentrator...
had a similar problem. In fact, the manual stated that there may be problems with not being able to log into it with browsers other than IE.

One update to the current software/firmware and BAM! I use FireFox to configure and manage my VPN. I also use it to manage my Cisco Pix 515E firewall. No update was needed for that but I updated anyway.

Try updating all your software/firmware for all your Cisco products and I can bet you can use FireFox for all of them. Cisco is great about embracing standards and that is what FireFox is all about --regardless of what pa2004 says.
