Would you turn down a job paying $200,000 a year doing what you love to do?

The whole point is that everything in the recording industry is dropping in price. The only thing remaining that is high priced is promotion. That's only high priced because the Major Labels make it so. P2P is a method of promotion.

I know of a few bands that use P2P and MSN Chat rooms to get noticed. These are 15 year old kids that do this. They pack a concert hall with 500 teens every weekend and charge $5 a head. After paying for the hall they have $2350 plus CD sale that get split 3 ways. If I were 15 again making $1000 for a days work I'd have been one rich kid. How many teens do you know that make $52,000 a year?
