You missed the point.
everything at and before pre-press is the cheapest part of retail music. To make an album and cut create a pre-press Digital file will cost between $20,000.00 and $250,000.00 depending on number of musicians, song writers, pruducers etc.

(One album can have one producer for the entire album or one producer per song on the album. Each song can use any number from one to hundreds of musicians. None if you are doing acapella. Other variables come into play.)

Mastering a CD also cost little but to then produce 1M copies, label them. package them. warehouse them, distribute them, display them, sell them, etc. costs Millions of dollars.
