that there is a rebound in the quality of music being sold, increasing sales. It couldn't be that people have a little more money to spend on CDs, increasing sales. No, it has to be piracy policies, and they need to get better.

You hit the nail on the head with those scenarios. It would be nice if the music industry wasn't run by accountants and lawyers, but I guess that's asking a bit much these days.
