Scenario 1: "CD sales are down? Well, we obviously need better piracy protection, tougher laws, more lawsuits, and to banish online music sales to the dustbin of history."

Scenario 2: "CD sales are flat? Well, we obviously need better piracy protection, tougher laws, more lawsuits, and to banish online music sales to the dustbin of history."

Scenario 3: "CD sales are up 10%? Well, given all we've lost over the years to piracy, we obviously need better piracy protection, tougher laws, more lawsuits, and to banish online music sales to the dustbin of history."

Scenario 4: "Everyone on Earth has now bought every CD that ever existed? Well, that's all well and good, but until everyone pays every time they convert it to new media or listen to it on the radio, they are stealing from artists. We obviously need better piracy protection, tougher laws, more lawsuits, and to banish online music sales to the dustbin of history."
