Ah Spoon old buddy I to enjoy our conversations.
So well we agree that the old testiment is pretty much the
Tora..but since it is included in the Bible it represents the worlds
and actions of the Christian God. So these things happened and
your God made them so.

More so because in these times God was all about giveing direct
order and not so much about using the middle men (profits) and
such.

Funny you do NOT argue that in many a case the Muslims in
history did NOT destroy Christian and Jewish places of worship,
nor did you argue that for Chrstians this was pretty much a
normal procedure. You did come up with the Taliban...So tell
me Spoon did the guys/ gals who boomed abortion clinics and
shot doctors down represent Christians in general? Did the
guys/ gals whom burned so called witches repressent a true
cross section of the Chrstian faithful? Did the Christians whom
during the first Crusade lead an entire cities population out and
slaugher the unarmed and helpless citisens of said city
repressent Chrstians. Do the Klu Klux Klan and the Neo Nazis,
and SKin Heads all of whom claim to be Christians represent you
and yoor? So why shold the Taliban represent Muslims in
general. As for India...Unlike Christians and Jews I think the
Indian faiths of the time were probably considered rather
offensive to God as the Muslims saw it. (Ii'm not in any fashion
condoning this..any more than you are by saying hey that was
thing this is now or others who have done so) I'm just saying
that event or events does not seem to me the norm for Muslim
tradition.

Also in the Koran the God of abraham is refered to as the God
they worship

I do not trust a lot of media....some I do. PBS, and the History
Channel seem to be pretty good and they have given me a great
deal of information about the Muslim faith.

Now I will promise in some future date to look up that passage
where Christians and Jews and Muslims are all told they will
someday go to Heaven if their hearts are in the right place.

Now I will ask you something since you claim to know so much
about the Koran. Could I if I tried take all the upsetting and
disturbing stories in the Koran and match them one for one with
the Bible (Yes this include the old testiment...same God in both
the new and old I'm afraid and I don't care one wit about the "We
are now in some sort of grace" As far as I'm concerned a serial
murderer does not get to call "TIME" and say "Hey guys I'm a
good guy now and all those people I killed before this moment
well that was then..this is now" It does not work that way for
me. So using both parts of the Bible can I match the Koran hate
filled, violent and cruel story for story? Or better still who would
come out ahead?

I know you would like to justify your stories with some sort of "If
the Holy Spirit was in you like it is in me you would understand
these tales better" However I'm pretty certain I can get a similar
justification from the Muslims and frankly that puts us back to
the begining, does it not?

Ghandi said "All faiths are true" to my interpretation he said that
once you peal of all the increadible BS surrounding it you will
find a simple grain of truth under all the crap. And I agree this
includes the Jewish faith, the Muslim faith and dare I say it the
Christians.

Now look Spoon I went to a conservative Christian Church and
I've been to several in fact and I've talked to more than my fair
share of so called Christians and frankly there is a movement
going on and it was going on long before 9/11 and frankly I
hold this movement agains the Muslims in part repsonsible for
9/11...I was there I saw the movie produced to stir up the
faithful and get them to join in the battle, and donate what they
could for thte cause. I heard the fire and brimstone speaches
and saw the light in these peoples eyes and frankly I saw
madness. I can no more prove to you what I heard and saw than
you can prove to me that your God is the one and only. I did not
plan on being there I went with a friend who wanted to share
with me her faith. What I saw and heard upset me greatly and IF
I had an incling of what I was going to see and hear I would have
brought some sort of recording device. I also believe that
despite his words if GW Bush and Co most if not all avowed
Christians share the same point of view as you do..then this is
indeed a government sponsered crusade against the Muslim
faith and all GW's speached about it NOT being so is because he
knows for a fact that he would NOT be re-elected cause there
are still way too many sane American to allow this to happen.
Still if GW is the type of Christian that believes about thte
Musliims as you do...it is obvious that this is a crusade. It can
be nothing else.

Oh and I was amused at your cursing of God. Not angered or
upset. No matter how you try and spin it the God of Abraham is
in the Koran and that is their God. You may claim they worship
the wrong profit, but even in the Koran Jesus and Mary get some
pretty damned good press and are VERY respected.

Sorry I can not repsond to everything but these damn talkbacks
do well blank a bit. And I forgot some

"All glory and praise to Allah"
