Ah so now we enter the spin zone of faith.

Yes it is true that there are some hate filled, and cruel and
violent passages in the Koran. No less true of the Tora, and the
Bible.

Each has their own rational for the existance of said. Many
times it's called you have to understand the times, the societies,
and the norms of said. This rational has been used to explain
these passages in the Koran. Like when the Muslims and
Christians and Jews were fighting in wars against one another it
is no surprise that the passages in the Koran wwere a bit heated
at those times.

It also says in the Koran something to the effect that it matters
not if you are a Muslim, Christian or Jew if you heart is true and
such you will find Heaven. So it's not all that hate filled..nor is
the Bible or Torra.

Would you like me to pull up a Biblical example...I have sooo
many to choose from. This one is a praticual fav of mine. God
tells the Jews to go to a village who is supposed tot be under the
thrall of some evil creature whom I'm not sure of is it a god or
another name for satan. I't confuses me here because the
crreature is NOT named satan but Bahl I believe. God tells the
jews to kill everyone man, woman and child and yes even the
animals and this is why I reject your God SPoon. The day anyone
tells me to srust ad sword into the chest of a defensless child or
a woman begging to live...that God id my ENEMY. Period end of
story.

Why? Well I've been told that God is all pwerful there are NO
limits to his/her power. So there was no need for God to have
these people's killed at the very least the children whom were
not adults and in all likelyhood were doing what they were raised
to do by their parents, and IF God could not forgive the children
or help them then he/she is useless to me.

If God is limitless and all powerful then this tale is horrible and
cruel. If God is not all powerful and limited in some
fashion..well then perhaps it's time to shop for a better God?

There are countless tales in the Bible that are cruel and to my
humble opinion just plane sick.

Now as for your other claims against the Koran and Allah (God0
well why am I not surprised that there is a spin from
CHRISTIANS!?!

After all you guys/gals do need a justification for your new
improved crusade and that is as good as any other I assume.

I simply can not trust your history lesson. I've watched a PBS
special on Muslim history and much if it was very impressive.
Taking over nations what had Christian and Jewish churches and
NOT destroying either. Allowing the local populace to worship
as they choose and only building Mosques but NOT destroying
the others. Very not Christian like (you know the guys that tear
other people's entire culture's to shreads destorying priceless
history and structurres many of which had NOTHING to do with
worship like Totem poles and such) Now there is a history to be
proud of!! Yeah! I've also watched and listen to many a
historian and scholar about the Muslim history and faith and you
know to a person...your spin did NOT come up.
