Offensive advertising undermines internet business in the long run.
Considering all the pop-ups, pop-unders, blind redirects, eye-torturing flash animation, and homepage hi-jacking ... is it any wonder that internet business sites haven't taken off?

Based on their unethical online behavior and their offensive advertisement policies, it seems clear that their business practices are almost certainly untrustworthy; and then they wonder why people refuse to use their credit card info online?

As far as I can tell from surfing the web, almost everyone (with some outstanding exceptions) doing business on the internet is a criminal sitting in some data center equivalent of a telemarketer con-man's boiler-room.

How could I trust any of these sites to keep my credit card info safe? Since even CitiBank got hacked, it seems pretty unlikely that the jokers behind the latest variation of a pop-up advertisement can be trusted to keep it safe; even if they themselves are not criminals fishing for CC data.

Regards,
Jon
