... is a very CPU intensive task and the utility clearly states it only indexes when the PC is idle. So if you were busy all day, it was not indexing.

My PC, on the other hand, indexed when I was at lunch and running it overnnight would be more than sufficient for any individual. We're not talking Library of Congress here.

As for supporting other browsers and emmail packages, give Google a chance. This product isn't even in general release. Also, what do you expect for a mere 400K download?

I do agree with others that there are some privacy concerns. Obviously, the tool has a mini-web server built-in and this means it could potentially serve information over the Internet. However, if you run a hardware or software firewall, this will not be a problem unless you specifically open your http port.
