"(People using Firefox and other browsers will not be able to record their Web history using the application.)"

It doesn't say anything about the rest of your info, so just the web part of your "history" will be missing.

I think it would be awesome for some of the companies I've worked at, to have been able to do a search like that. People could barely find the info they needed. If it was all indexed and then updated in real-time, it would be easily searchable, with near instantaneous results.
