Let's see, they own Netscape (free and clear), and are the principal backers (financial and otherwise) of the Mozilla project (developers of Firefox, among other things), so they base their stand-alone browser on IE, subject to whatever conditions MS wants to put on it. Furthermore, they make this decision at a time when Firefox is surging and IE is losing popularity.

Makes sense to me.
