Do you REALLY care if someone knows what you are listening to? If someone (read the government) wanted to know what you listened to - they would find out! Nothing you could do to stop them. Only the RIAA would know this info, and I'm sure they would use it to bother you with advertising! But since you can access ANY music on the site - they couldn't try to sell you any music! If SPAM was stopped, they couldn't sell your info to other businesses. I guess they could tailor their website to ads that are related to your music style (Cowboy hats for sale for country music listeners for example). But if you are listening to music, maybe you aren't even looking at the computer - thus the ads would not be effective. Does the cable company know what TV shows you watch and when?
