Thing is this isn't a war. It's business.
In business things change. Competing products always exist. A business may hold a monopoly for a time until others get into business to compete.

Microsoft benifited from Netscape screwing up. Now others have come to the party too. What's the big deal. Is using Firefox on Windows a cardinal sin or something. The way some MS shills talk you'd think so.
