Political jihad?
Since the media are supposed to be impartial, how could it be a "political jihad"? And just what do they call their organized campaign against Bush? "Fair and balanced"?

The media, just like all other aspects of American society, has become polarized. On one side you have Fox News, with its definitive right-wing slant. On the other side you have the "major" networks, with their burning desire to get Kerry elected. News organizations are no longer content to just report -- they feel the need to "guide" their viewers to the "correct" conclusions.

I personally use a combination of sources -- newspapers, radio, television, and the Internet. Then, I use my intelligence to analyze the information and come to my own conclusions. I guess I'm not the target audience for the modern-day news organizations.
