Still no excuse
It may be annoying, but it isn't against the law to have a loud conversation in the middle of the street. The noticeably woman was grabbed and thrown on the ground, a foot in her back pressing her down. That's a lot of overreaction, if you ask me.

The only difference between that conversation and the ones I hear at work everyday is the cell phone angle. I get to listen to family woes, arguments about whose turn it is to get the kid later, nasty cracks about employees who just left the room... Making it an issue about cell phones obscures the sad fact that Western society no longer seems to believe in keeping one's business to oneself. You don't need a cell phone to make your business everyone else's-just a loud mouth and an unwilling audience.
