Hard to Leave
I hear what you're saying. But just where would you go? The USA has the LOWEST taxes of any industrialized country (it IS hard to believe)! Go to a socialized country in Europe, and you pay 75% of your pay in taxes! I seem to remember something about the band ABBA - having very little money after being the hottest thing in the world for quite a few years. Seems Sweden took 90% . . .

Canada has higher taxes than the USA, but not that much more. It is cold, and getting more Americanized every day (Canadian beer companies owned by South Africans? GAAACK). I do like the liberal, laid-back rules that Canada espouses (prostitution is LEGAL? pot smoking is LEGAL? topless females in public LEGAL? teaching kids about contraception LEGAL? no religeous voice in politics? man, it sounds so good . . .). Actually, its not THAT cold . . . wink
