First they cut back on the number of email filters on free accounts. (You know, the things that help keep Spam out of your mailbox)

Then they limited the number of emails you could send in a 24 hour period on the free accounts (To something like 20 emails)

Then they cut the interval you must login to their service to keep the account active from 30 days to 10 days.

And they actually expect anyone to believe this is to fight Spammers? They didn't even outline how the spammer's were allegedly "abusing" the system that required this "fix".

To hell with Hotmail, there's plenty of BETTER free alternatives.
