Oddly enough....
I have a machine at work, fresh install of XP Professional and SP2.

I downloaded Mozilla Firefox 0.9.3.

Now, here's the weird bit. If I downloaded the program, and saved it to disk to install later, the icon looked like one of those old, plain icons for a generic .exe file (a white rectangle with a blue stripe on top meant to look like a mini window).

When I'd try to run this, I'd get a DOS-box pop up saying that the program was too big to fit into memory.

However, when instead I clicked on the link to download and chose to Run the program rather than saving it, everything worked fine.

Best as I can tell, it's a weird quirk with IE.

However, when I later re-downloaded Firefox (same version) with Firefox itself, it saved correctly and had the proper icon (looks like a product box opened with a CD in front of it).

So I guess IE causes some weird things to happen when you try to save the program. Same thing with saving Thunderbird, by the way.
