Won't be the last encounter
as much as the MPAA and RIAA hate the consumer using Linux and OSS products that haven't a shred of Macrovision or other DRM in it. They love MS and Apple for the proprietary DRM that just barely keep consumers from ripping/playing/using their CDs/DVDs in any other fashion than what those organizations allow. Linux and OSS, too open, too code modifable, easy to hack a counter measure (even without the black magic marker). As Linux use grows, watch the MPAA and RIAA to make it a news feature often.
