Claria / Gator is a despictable company
Its hard to write down every story I have heard, read or personally experiences with Claria/Gator spyware.

I personally suggest that everyone download either Adware, Spybot Search and Destroy or Yahoo's Toolbar (which can destroy spyware, but is a rather clunky toolbar).

To finish up by diatribe - how well can you trust a company that changes its name so that it is no longer connected with its "Gator" past?
