There's dozens of countries who they could be more aghast at. Dozens who, if by virtue of no more than their larger populous, abuse many more people than the Cuban regime do.

Yet some of these are convenient "friends" for now. We turn a blind eye there, so why not a blind eye to a tiny little impoverished island that isn't a threat, or influence, to anyone.
