This is great, we need open networks. I am so tired and frustrated of being told what I can and cannot do with my phone. Can I surf the web? Sure, but only with this really crapp browser. Can I do online gaming/chatting? Sure, but only with apps we certify ...apps we don't certify won't go online. This is a real pain in the arse and I am glad that Google is looking to fix this for the better, Apple is definitely leading the way I believe and I am very happy that phone manufacturers seem to be following Apple.Together with Apple and Google we, the end users, can't lose.
