Ahem, we don't lean left

Sorry, but I've been in the tech industry for a few decades (let's put it this way my first programming job was in S/370 Assembly Language). And I have to tell you that techies are more apt to be thinkers and that tends to lead one away from the modern left. Let's face what thinking being would fall for the left's conform to my non-conformity or I will peacefully attack you with this protest sign until you're dead message? Sorry, it doesn't fly. Every tech knows the consequences of taxes. California imposes a sales tax two things will happen people will stop buying products from California over the web and trade with other states. The second thing that will happen is those companies doing business out of California will leave the state. If California decides to only tax it's own citizen's transactions, what are they going to rely on the citizen volunteering the fact they are a CA resident? Only thing they can do since they are talking about taxing content rather than physical objects and the seller has no way of knowing the location of the buyer.
