If he's talking about the government keeping up with the economy, then I think the economy and the government should keep up with technology and the fact that the internet has begun to eliminate a large degree of scarcity. However, the government and corporations are keen to perpetuate ARTIFICIAL SCARCITY with respect to electronic media and applicable copyright laws and supposed "piracy." The system is broken and relies on continued government PROTECTIONISM. And now, I'm off to copy--and by that I mean "steal"--some ****.
