Kids tell others ...
My kids have had a few bad teachers, and they make sure to tell their friends. On at least one occasion they had a friend who did not listen tell them later, "yeah, I should have switched teachers."

For the person that said that kids cannot evaluate the teaching while being taught, how long has it been since you have been in school? I knew which teachers cared and did not, and which could not "teach their way out of a paper bag" (so to speak). They might disagree with a grade or decision, but that doesn't make them dislike the teacher by itself. One of my favorite teachers gave me a zero on the first quiz of the year ... she was tough, but fair. I learned my lesson and learned a lot that year.

Teachers should be held accountable, just like I am held accountable for my work. If I don't work well with others, or those I manage do not like me, I will hear about it from my boss.

Do the teachers (actually their union) want to have a way to respond to any allegations? Maybe like eBay lets you rate the seller, but the seller can tell their side of the story?
