Actually, one could conclude that
it is up to students to hail or rail against the pros and cons of their teachers (real issues not rants or raves), not necessarily on the grounds of their teachers educational credentials, but on the manner of their teaching, their effective style, if they have actions and manners that could have negative influence/affect on their guarded youth, and besides the parents, students know best what conduct is happening in the classroom.

Now I'm sure their or libel and slander laws to protect against such, so what 'harm' is their in the site itself. Will other schools use the data to hire or fire staff based on said reviews? Are 'kids' afforded different rights than adult review?

Unless there is some camera monitoring the classroom's to determine the interactions . . . I'm sure the 'unions' wouldn't allow that either. Does the education system allow for an 'internal' process of teacher review by a student peer system? Is it adults rule and kids just go to school?

Oh well, I guess student records can't be posted online either, that no database of their history should be made public and accessible via the web, even on a non-commercial site as long as it invades the privacy and performance of said students, . . . where's the student unions on this.

Maybe the EU should rule instead of the French court, just to make it clear across member states . . .
