Ask.com not planning to scrap search: source

If you use Google for search, why even exist?: If you're no longer going to have your own source of search results, what's the point of existing? You're no longer competing with others in your market but instead succumbing to another competitor's dominance. I for one liked AskJeeve's a lot better then Ask and feel that if Ask really wants a edge on today's competition they should go back to their ask format.
