- Waste of money.
- The economic forces that cause the illegal problem are so great that there is no fence high enough, wide enough, or tech smart enough to keep these folks out. They will smash through, tunnel under, and take out any surveillance equipment that stands in their way. The best you can hope for is to try and stem the flood a bit.
