The talk may be Comcast vs BitTorrent ...
... but the real issue is false advertisement and internet access freedom.

When people signed up for the service, the contract was for:
- UNLIMITED bandwidth at a limited maximum download speed

Although they claim they do, the contract actually does not guarantee the promise speed (they guarantee the MAX, but not the actual normal speed). But it does guarantee the UNLIMITED bandwidth and has absolutely no single word about blocking a particular application. That means, that the blockage of P2P traffic (or any other web based traffic) is an illegal violation of the contract made with the subscriber. If the subscriber is doing something illegal, then contact the authorities and turn that person in. But to arbitrarily block or downgrade the access for a particular service, just because they don't like that somebody is actually taking advantage of the legally purchase unlimited bandwidth is ridiculous.

Allowing the blocking of one particular web base technology will open the flood gates for blocking "non-sponsored or non-approved" applications in the future.
