Gates: Microsoft targets Web with Yahoo or alone
Yahoo must really be regretting this now. They didn't take the very generous bid that was offered and now Microsoft can use that money to boost their presence in search and web services. As Yahoo fades into a distant third, Microsoft with the better technologies and web results will soon move into first. Larry and Sergie must be crapping their pants right now because they are so scared. Remember when Microsoft sets out to achieve a goal they don't let anyone stand in their way until the job is done. Isn't competition great?
